Join us for the Conservation Employee Training!

The Conservation Employee Training (CET) is a state-wide workshop that provides conservation professionals with in-depth training on technical, administrative and educational aspects related to agriculture best management practices, community conservation, district law, district operations and environmental education.

This event will start on Monday, September 16 for those planning to attend the new employee orientation, mentoring event, or commission meetings and will end on Thursday, September 19.

Registration tickets include Tuesday's breakfast, Tuesday's lunch, Wednesday's lunch, and Wednesday's dinner. Plus, breaks during the meeting. New Employee Orientation on Sept. 16 is an additional cost but includes lunch.

We have an overflow block at the beautiful Hotel Alice, which is walking distance from the hotel. Attendees staying at Hotel Alice will also have the ability to park at the DoubleTree during the day for the CET. Animal Waste Management Technical Assistance

Animal Waste Management Technical Assistance is available to all livestock producers. Assistance includes but is not limited to:

Develop and revise waste utilization plans
Wettable acreage determination
Prepare a plan of action for permitted operations
Conduct voluntary operation reviews
Develop lagoon closure plans and providing oversight of project Provide technical guidance on nutrient management
Sludge survey and waste sampling
Setting and certifying waste structure markers
